About Mrs. Mejia
I am originally from Honduras, that very small country in the heart of the American Continent.
I am also a music/ orchestra teacher and I can play several instruments ,including the violin and viola. I have played in several local area orchestras, and currently still perform with the Macon Symphony Orchestra, down in Macon, GA.
I decided to teach Spanish so I could share my language and heritage. I feel languages and music are very much related and require the same type of skills. Therefore, I love to teach both!
I have two children, Anna and Geovanni. They both play piano and Anna is also studying cello and saxophone. My husband German is an elementary educator who is currently teaching Spanish in HS, but he used to be an agriculture engineer.
